Abstract
319,899. Digby, W. P. Aug. 30, 1928. Alloys.-An iron alloy contains 10-25 per cent of copper, with or without up to 9.5 per cent of chromium. Carbon, part of which may be added from furnace electrodes, may be about 0.1-0.8 per cent. 0.2-0.8 per cent of manganese may be added about 5 minutes before pouring.
