Abstract

318,909. Johnson, J. Y., (I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges.). March 10, 1928. Divided on 318,842. Manures.-The mixed fertilizer described in Specification 236,494 and consisting of urea, ammonium phosphate, and potassium nitrate, the latter of which may be partly or completely replaced by potassium sulphate, is modified by replacing the urea wholly or in part by sodium nitrate, the ingredients being used in such proportions that nitrogen, phosphorus, (calculated as pentoxide), and potassium (calculated as oxide) are present in the product in substantially the proportions 1 to 0.6 to 1.5. The potassium nitrate or sulphate may be replaced wholly or in part by potassium chloride. Specifications 30683/97 and 231,021 also are referred to.
