Tripping-arrangements.- The printed web is fed from a printing-press to the cutting-rollers by means of a constantly driven feed-roller 25 coacting with drop rollers 28<a>, which are connected with web-stopping rollers 69, 74 in such a manner that, when the rollers 28<a> are moved away from the roller 25 to stop the feed, the stopping rollers come into action to grip the web before the rollers 28a become ineffective. The web W is led to the feed-rollers from an offset rotary press comprising three couples for perfecting the web with a two-colour impression on one side and a onecolour impression on the reverse side, and means for tripping the feed-rollere 28a are connected with the means for actuating the eccentric bearing of the printing-couptes to trip the printing- cylinders. A rod 109 is raised when the printing- couples are tripped, and this arm raises arms 45, 76 which control the motions of the drop rollers 28a and stop rollers 74. The arms 45, 76 are fixed to rock-shafts 32, 78, respectively, and have adjustable connections with rock arms 55, 104, freely mounted on the rock-shafts and connected to the arms 45, 76 by means of spring-pins engaging sockets 53, 52 and 102, 101, respectively. As shown the pins engages sockets 52, 102 and the rollers 28a are moved into and out of active position by the movement of the arm 55, and the rollers 74 are similarly operated by the arm 104. If, however, the pins are connected in the other socket, the rollers 28a, 74 are permanently tripped.
