Abstract

316,232. Scholes, G. H., Pearce, F. J., and Scholes & Co., Ltd., G. H. Jan. 26, 1928. Ceiling roses &c.- The cable inlets are formed by breaking away weakened portions of the periphery of the flat base of a ceiling rose or other junction-box. Portions 9 nearly severed by grooves 8 in the top or bottom surface of the base 4 are broken away to form openings 10 extending to the periphery where required. A bevelled or rounded edge 12 is provided. The edge of the cover 6 presses on the cables 11 and holds them in place.
