Abstract

315,893. Dicker, S. G. S., (Naamlooze Vennootschap Philips' Gloeilampenfabrieken). Feb. 20, 1928. Drawings to Specification. Transformers.-A transformer core is built up from discontinuous laminations some of which are assembled so that adjacent laminations break joint while the remainder are assembled with the joints of adjacent laminations in line. The latter, forming small air gaps, are made sufficient in number to increase the reluctance of the core to give desired magnetization characteristics. Specification 19999/04 is referred to.
