Abstract

315,404. Siemens - Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges. July 13, 1928, [Convention date]. Brush-holders.-A brush-holder for small motors is fitted with a cover for the brush-way in the form of a flat plate of small dimensions screwed to the bearing frame in such a manner as to add as little as possible to the overall diameter of the machine. In the form shown, the brush-way consists of an insulating sleeve 13 in the bearing frame 11 and the flat cover 17 is made of an insulating material recessed at 16 to receive the brush spring and secured to the frame by a screw 18 which is loosened for turning the cover aside to give access to the brush.
