Abstract

415,421. Dynamo-electric machine supports. SIEMENS-SCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. Feb. 23, 1934, No. 5986. Convention date, Feb. 23, 1933. [Class 35.] Projections 13, 14 on the casing are formed with surfaces 20 to receive feet 15 arranged longitudinally and parallel with the axis of the machine ; the abutting surfaces are parallel with the casing. As shown the projections are integral with some of the cooling ribs 11 but they may be formed direct on the casing. Side brackets on the feet prevent longitudinal movement by engaging the edges of the projections. The fixing bolts 16 are all vertical to facilitate drilling. The projections in both constructions are spaced to permit of air circulation for cooling.
