Abstract

437,221. Dynamo - electric machines. STEVENS, A. H., 5, Quality Court, Chancery Lane, London.-(Leland Electric Co. ; 1501, Webster Street, Dayton, Ohio, U.S.A.) Oct. 12, 1934, No. 29260. [Class 35] Cores.-The stator laminµ of a dynamoelectric machine are locked in place by circumferentially - extending members, the ends of which engage with notches in the laminµ. The laminµ 32 are formed with projections 33 having bolt-holes 41 and slots 35 into which fit the edges of plates 36. The plates 36 are secured by sidepieces 38, lugs on the plates passing through slots in the side pieces and being upset or riveted over as shown at 40<a>. The edges of the plates 36 and side pieces 38 are rabbeted to fit the end frames of the machine. The plates 36 are so shaped as to leave an air-space between them and the laminµ between the projections 33.
