Brush - holders. - Adjustable brush gear for a totally enclosed machine comprises a r i n g 1 rotatably mounted on extensions 5 of the casing, and carrying brush-holders 8. Springs 8 secured to a fixed insulating disc 13 and connected to the field windings make contact with the brush-holders in all positions of adjustment. The ring 1 is held in position by the bearing end plate.
