315,269. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. July 10, 1928, [Convention date]. Kinematograph apparatus.- Pressure rollers are carried by a member which is forced into open position by a spring and is held in working position by a locking device. As shown, two pairs of rollers 2 co-operate with a sprocket 7, each pair being carried by a holder 1 pivoted at 3 and urged away from the sprocket by a spring 5. Pins 9 on leaf springs 8 engage lugs 11 on the holders 1 to keep the rollers in a working position, which is slightly spaced from the sprocket. The pins 9 are cut so that the holders can pass them when moved towards the sprocket. Push buttons 10 are provided on the springs to enable the pins 9 and lugs 11 to be disengaged, and to form stops which limit the movement from the sprocket.
