Abstract

315,054. Amesbury, W. L. R. May 19, 1928. Resilient handles. -A resilient handle for fitting to the usual handle or stub shank of brushes, safety razors &c., comprises a closely wound helical member, one end having a parallel portion to grip a convenient part of the handle by twisting it thereon and the other end being left free. As applied to a safety razor, the hollow shank F secured to the comb-plate f has a shoulder E acting as a stop to the reduced portion h of the cylindrical coil spring handle H. The hollow stem D screwing on the stem J of the blade carrier G has a knob M engaging the end of the shank F. Rubber sleeves of different thicknesses are provided to adapt the spring handle to various sizes of shanks.
