Abstract

Knives.- A corn-cutting appliance consists of a metal strip a which has one end b turned at right-angles and formed like a gouge, the lateral edges c, c' and the extreme end being sharpened. A guard e is slidably mounted on the strip and carries a spring tongue g having an indent which coacts with a recess i on the strip to retain the guard. The handle portion of the strip is shaped with a curved nail-scraper k and a pointed probe. l for cleaning the nails.
