Abstract
314,808. Siemens -Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges. July 2, 1928, [Convention date]. Cores; insulation.-To prevent the occurrence of corona in high-voltage machines, the extended slot lining 3 of the conductor 2 is provided with a layer of conducting or semi-conducting material 4, such as metal foil, connected to the stator iron 1; insulation 5 covers the foil 4 and an external facing 6 of conducting or semi-conducting material is placed on the insulation 5 as shown. Insulation 7 may cover the facing 6. Specification 298,645 is referred to.
