Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-The cylinder head 2 is provided with a pre-combustion chamber 10 located within a cooling jacket 3 and opening into the combustion chamber through an aperture 13 opposite the fuel nozzle 9, the chamber 10 being conical at the upper part adjacent the nozzle 9 and hemispherical at the lower part adjacent the aperture 13.
