Enlarging apparatus to be combined with a camera has a lamphouse C and hood B mounted on a frame A in which the camera is held. Lamps 16 in curved shades 17 illuminate the negative 19 held in a curved plate by means of a flange 18 and cover member 20. The light reflected from the negative passes through the camera lens and is reflected by a prism 10 on to the sensitive surface supported in a holder 29 on the hood, for example of the type described in Specification 314,049.
