Refuse-bins.- A receptacle for collecting dross from type casting metals &c., and adapted to prevent escape of fumes, comprises a container a with handles c and feet b, the top of the container having doors d normally held closed by a spring or springs e but adapted to open under the weight of the dross; the bottom of the container has doors h normally held closed by a single or double armed lever i provided with a handle k, one lever having a slot which engages a pin on one of the doors.
