Feedwater, controlling; pressure, regulating.- In a water-tube boiler 1 with a forced water circulation, particularly in a " limit steam " boiler, the pressure is maintained constant by an overflow valve 20 in the steam delivery pipe, and the feed supply and the fuel and air supplies are automatically regulated in accordance with the load, that is, the quantity of steam delivered. The motors of the fuel conveyer 17, the air blower 18 and the feed pump 6 are regulated at given intervals of time by the water level or steam pressure in an accumulator 11 receiving the exhaust from a high pressure engine 10 driven by the steam from the generator. A constant quantity of steam is supplied from the accumulator through a regulator 13 to a low pressure engine 12. Shunt regulators on the motors of the fuel conveyer and the air fan are, controlled by a temperature measuring device T in the steam pipe and by a CO2 gauge in the furnace.
