Transmission gear between separate axles.-In vehicles having a chain drive I between'two axles A, L, each having a differential gear, the sprocket wheels H, J of this chain consist of rings which are arranged close to main wheels G, K of the differential gears and are made integral therewith or are secured thereto by means of bolts, rivets or clamps. The chain wheel G is driven from the engine, and the wheel K may have teeth, as shown, so that a stock part may be used or this wheel may be blank. Brake drums M may be secured to the wheels G, K by the same bolts which secure the wheels H, J.
