Abstract

312,041. Bruhl, J. May 19, 1928, [Convention date]. Spindle apparatus. - Spinning boxes used in the manufacture of artificial silk are formed of layers 1, 1', 1<11>, of cellulose paper or fabric impregnated with synthetic resin, and layers 8 of asbestos paper or fabric also impregnated with synthetic resin, the asbestos layers being arranged at the parts liable to be attacked by the material under treatment. The synthetic resin serves as an adhesive between the layers. Specification 276,697, [Class 140, Waterproof &c. fabrics], and 293,060 are referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), comprises also bobbins and like devices constructed of layers of. cellulose paper or fabric and of asbestos paper or fabric impregnated with synthetic resin or, when chemical action may be produced in the mass of the article, as in the case of a perforated bobbin, Fig. 5 (cancelled), of layers of impregnated asbestos alone. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
