Abstract

In a method of making fabric from threads, such as textiles, net or lace, the threads and/or the machine on which the fabric is made are lubricated with boric acid in fine powdered form. Finely powdered boron nitride, talc, mica, naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene, betanaphthalamine or cellulose may be added, and may comprise up to 80% of the mixture.
