Frames. - In an electric motor adapted to be built into another machine or apparatus and having a metal frame 11 surrounding the laminations of the field magnet and carrying the rotor spindle and the brushes, the frame 11 is divided as shown at 19 to prevent eddy-currents and the two ends held together by a piece of insulating-material 24. In the arrangement shown circular holes are made in the two ends of the frame and the insulating- matetial is of 8-shape.
