[Class 35] In a stator, particularly for a two pole induction motor, the laminµ make contact with the casing at four points or regions only, these being on diameters parallel and perpendicular to the mounting plane, the feet being secured at two regions 90 degrees apart and mid-way between the contact regions of the laminµ with the frame as shown, the feet are secured to the stator only at points 22, the laminµ being square with rounded corners.
