Abstract
310,898. Hanrott, H. C. Feb. 3, 1928. Road-traffic signals on vehicles.-A hollow collapsable member a. Fig. 5, for use as a roadtraffic signal on vehicles is distended into the signalling position by fluid-pressure supplied by a bulb or other means, and when in the signalling position an arm l carried inside the member a completes an electric circuit and lights a. lamp k. The arm l, Fig. 8, has an insulating bushing &c. and works between insulating washers p on a pin o carried in arms m one. of which is engaged by a stud q on the lever l when the signal is raised. Fig. 3 shows two signals a mounted on a member i for attachment to the rear mudguard. The device may also be attached to the windscreen or to the driving-mirror.
