310,830. Harding Chemical Co., Ltd., and Clutterbuck, W. H. Feb. 1, 1928. Dye preparations.-A small quantity not exceeding 2 per cent by weight of a colloidal clay, e.g. bentonite, is incorporated either dry, or in a wet condition, with a dye paste, so as to prevent the dyestuff from settling out. The invention is particularly applicable to vat colours. The use of ehrenbergite, china clay, blue or bull clay and killas clay is mentioned in the Provisional Specification.
