Monoazo dyes; sulphuretted dyes.- Materials made of or containing cellulose esters or ethers are dyed. printed, stencilled, or otherwise coloured by means of unsulphonated thiazole derivatives. the use of basic dves such as Thioflavine T for cellulose ethers, as described in Specification 196.953, [Class 15 (ii), Dyeing, Processes &c, for], being excluded. The following yellow dyestuffs are specified as suitable for application in substance from aqueous dispersions :- the monoazo dyes dehydrothio-p-toluidine # phenol, m-toluylenediamine, or m-toluidine, and the condensation products from 1 mol. of dehydrothio.p-toluidine and 1 mol. of 2 : 4-dinitrochlorobenzene or 2 : 5-dichloronitrobenzene.
