Abstract

309,272. Higgins, H. R. Feb. 17, 1928. Tank carts. - Trucks suitable for oil drums, barrels, and the like comprise a framework having an upper hinged part which on replacement after the introduction of the drums, acts to secure the latter in place. As shown, the track carries three drums A, B, C supported and spaced by a framework of angle &c. bars a and an upper part e hinged at f is provided having extensions h<1> to which is secured a handle h<2>. The upper part . e may have mounted thereon pumps A', B<1>, C' placed eccentrically in relation to the drums so as to provide space for measuring vessels &c. The pumps may be mounted on the drums themselves.
