Abstract

325,766. Tontet, G. V. June 11, 1929. Tanks for transport of liquids mounted on rail- - way wagons, lorries, &c. or in ships, are provided with a solid or hollow member 2, the ends of which are attached to the ends of the tank while a small clearance is left between its sides and the tank. Baffles 6 are provided in the clearance, and a valve-controlled opening 4 is disposed under the tank filling aperture 3. The sides of the member 2 have extensions extending towards the bottom of the tank, which may be connected by a plate formed with a hole in its centre.
