Abstract
308,750. Soc. Electrometallurgique de Montricher. March 31, 1928, [Convention date]. Furnace details.-Self-baking electrodes comprise hollow metal sections filled with coking coal. The furnace is operated so that the coal is carbonized at a temperature between 500‹ C. and 600‹ C. to form a hard compact mass. Inert carbon may be mixed with the coal. The Specification as open to public inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also refers to the use of coke breeze and recuperated materials. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
