Abstract

308,543. Davis, P., H. Aug. 21, 1928. Parallel chains with widely-spaced cross-connections.-An endless conveyer for carrying dishes or other articles through a washing machine comprises a series of transverse rods 1 connected by soft or fabric dish-carrying links 2 and driving links 3. The links 2 are spaced apart by helical springs 4, and may be formed of layers of fabric such as canvas impregnated with a material capable of rendering the link relatively rigid and waterproof and able to withstand boiling water. Examples of such materials are rubber vulcanized hard or the substance known under the registered Trade Mark " Bakelite. "
