307,397. B÷hme Akt.-Ges., H. T. March 6, 1928, [Convention date]. Yarns &c., treating with liquids.-The wetting power of treatment liquors employed in the textile, felt, artificial silk, leather, artificial leather, and like industries is increased by the addition thereto of esters of adipic acid or of substituted adipic acids, such as ethyl, propyl, and butyl esters of methyl or ethyl adipic acid. The esters may be employed in the presence of soaps, sulphonated oils, or naphthalenesulphoacids which increase the solubility of the esters in aqueous liquids.
