Abstract

307,331. Vries, J. de. March 5, 1928, [Convention date]. Feed-bars for reservoir pens; reservoir nibs. - Feed-bars for fountain pens or reservoir attachments for ordinary nibs are provided, at the sides of the longitudinal ink-duct, with capillary cross-channels which serve to retain the ink and prevent it from flowing too freely from the nib. The feed-bar 4 is provided with the usual duct 6 terminating near the front end 7, and at each side of the duct saw-cuts 10 are formed to create a number of capillary channels. The channels are interconnected by grooves extending parallel to the duct 6.
