Teeth artificial.-The base b of a stud for securing a 'suction disc to a denture is formed with radial or concentric corrugations over its whole surface so as to obtain a firmer hold on the vulcanite plate. The stud is held in place. during the moulding operation by means of a former g, the neck of the stud being surrounded by a twopart lead insertion piece d, d<1> having a sharplybevelled edge f so that it may readily be removed after vulcanization.
