Abstract
25,288. Fogg, E. Nov. 5. Teeth, artificial.-Gum facings a are fitted to the wax plate or the like, but are removed before vulcanization, casting, soldering, stamping, or other moulding operation, in order to prevent cracking. They are secured to the finished denture by guttapercha or other cement. The facings may have recesses b for buttons or plain or threaded pins, which are left in the wax so as to be embedded in the finished plate. The facings are of metal coated with enamel, or of glass, celluloid, &c., and are of a size to receive one or more teeth and to fit between two or more teeth.
