Abstract

306,039. Associated Electrical Industries, Ltd., (Assignees of Hill, L. H.). Feb. 14, 1928, [Convention date]. Tanks with radiator elements.-The radiators 2 of an oil tank 4 for an electrical transformer are cooled by air directed over the tubes by baffles 17 dispcsed in casings 11 secured to the radiators and containing fans 6 which induce the air through the spaces between the slots 12 into the casings and force it through the openings 18 in the baffles an to the tubes. The fan motors 7 are controlled manually or by a thermostat arranged in a casing 8 secured to the tank.
