Abstract

Cam-actuated pumps.-In swash-plate pumps, compressors, and engines of the kind in which the piston rods 30 engage both sides of the swashplate 26, the engagement is effected by elastic means, such as plungers 34 slidably mounted in yokes 32 on the piston rods and pressed against the swash-plate by springs 37 arranged between the plungers and yokes. The swash-plate rocks on a ball 27 supported by an adjustable rod 28.
