Doors for passenger vehicles.-- Vehicle door frames of light metal are obtained by casting or stamping and comprise side uprights and horizontal top and bottom cross beams formed individually and provided with the necessary bosses, recesses, and flanges for easy assembly and fixation of linings and other fittings the parts being detachably connected together. The side stiles C, D are of channel form and are provided with bevelled flanges c, d adapted to be bolted to similar flanges b on the bottom channel beam B. 'The upper beam A is of box form with one side removed, and is provided with a horizontal flange A<1> adapted to be bolted to corresponding flanges C<1>, D<1> on the stiles C, D. The outer sheet metal lining G is adapted to be riveted to the flange A' and clipped between the flanges A<1>, C<1> or D'. The outer contour of the stiles is of wedge form with a shoulder to co-operate with the fixed door frame. The window guides are secured in recesses in the stiles and upper beam A by means of the flanges A<1>, C<5>.
