Abstract

302,157. Roue Elastique. Dec, 10, 1927, [Convention date]. Spring wheels.-A flexible rim 11 fitted with a tyre 12 is connected by pivoted spokes 8 to links 7 the other ends of which are pivoted on sleeves 5 secured between the sides of a drum 3 on the axle 1. A continuous rubber or metal spring 13 is stretched over the sleeves 5 and sleeves 8<1> surrounding the pivots 9 between the spokes 8 and the links 7. Means (not shown) may be provided for adjusting the tension of the spring 13.
