Abstract

300,499. Bratu, R. Nov. 12, 1927, [Convention date]. Propelling; cabins; tanks, arrangement and disposition of.-Monoplanes or biplanes are provided with three engines in the vertical plane of symmetry, one at the front of the fuselage, the other two in tandem above the plane 3 or lower plane. The two upper engines are enclosed in a cabin S accessible from the navigating cabin C, from which the engine M is also accessible. The common axis of traction of the upper engines is inclined at an angle of 80‹. Other engines may be symmetrically arranged on both sides of the upper engines. Petrol and oil tanks R may be replaced by seating accommodation. Petrol reservoirs are in any case provided in the central portion of the wing spread.
