Abstract

Troughs for endless-belt conveyers; sectional framework; idler rollers; feet; antifouling guards. -The conveyer described in the parent Specification is provided with longitudinally extending plates 10 located on each side of the frame which have their upper surfaces 11 inclined inwards between the upper and lower rollers 1, 2. The space between the inner edges of the plates 11 is substantially less than the effective width of the belt so that any spillage from the top run is prevented from falling on the bottom run. The plates 10 are rigidly secured to downward extensions of the bearing brackets 3. The bearing brackets 12 for the lower rollers 2 are secured to the plates 10. The conveyer is supported by transverse angle bars 14.
