Abstract

Controlling flow of lubricant.-The supply of oil to a member is controlled by subjecting the flow, near the member, to a resistance by causing the oil to flow through a long capillary tube d, Fig. 1, arranged within a pipe c which is connected to a lubricator plug a by means of a screwed sleeve g which wedges a biconical ring f into conical seats in the plug and sleeve, the tube d being secured to a plug e closing the end of the pipe. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) the supply of oil may be controlled by arranging in the plug a an annular-grooved member h, Fig. 2 (Cancelled), of which the diameter is slightly less than the bore of the plug a, the member being held in position between the end of the pipe c and a shoulder i at the lower end of the plug a. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
