297,744. I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.- Ges. Sept. 26, 1927, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Apparatus for making filaments.-The threads of artificial silk, &c. are preliminarily twisted during collection in the centrifugal box, and are further twisted by putting the box in rotation during the withdrawal of the thread. The method is particularly applicable to dry-spinning processes. By appropriate adjustment, weft or warp threads may be obtained.
