Abstract

327,220. Vandemaele, P. Jan. 22, 1929. Thread guides; rollers.- To obviate slip at the godets of a machine for spinning viscose silk, three or more godets 13, 14, 15 over which the threads are passed in succession, are employed. The godets. are driven at the same speed, and by reason of the serpentine course taken by the thread, the latter is more effectively gripped. According to the Provisional Specification, the arrangement may be applied to the spinning of artificial silk in general.
