Hubs.-A wheel-hub is formed by cupping a flat blank to form shaped halves 2, preferably leaving flanged edges 5, which are then severed at 3 and butt-welded together. Fig. 3 shows a hub having a closed outer end, and Fig. 5 an open-ended hub fitted with a threaded collar 6 to receive a closing-cap 7.
