Abstract

Spring wheels.-In wheels of the kind comprising two metal discs 1, 1<1> the peripheral edges 4 of which are shaped to take the beads of the tyre 5 and which partly enclose an air tube 11, the air tube is moulded in the form of two main annular parts connected by a narrow part 9, the inner part enclosed by the discs being of greater volume than the outer part enclosed by the tyre. The tyre 5 is secured by beaded edges to the flanges 4 of the discs 1, 1<1> which are strengthened by bolts or screwed sleeves 10 accommodated within sleeves 13 formed in the air chamber. A crescentshaped member 6, of canvas or the like, is used to reinforce the tyre 5. The sleeves 13 may be of metal secured in a fluid-tight manner to the walls.
