Abstract

200,003. Granat, A. Oct. 9, 1922. Air tubes and chambers. - The inner airchamber is formed into compartments 7 communicating through apertures 13 with a continuous tube 10 at the rim portions. The tube 10 is divided by a web 11, the outer portion being inflated through a valve 14 for the inflation of thecompartments 7, the inner portion being inflated through a valve 15 so as to distend the web 11 to close the apertures 13. For additional security, flap valves 13a may be fitted over the apertures.
