Diaphragms; loud-speakers.-The conical dia. phragm a of a sound reproducer, more particularly a loud-speaker, is supported at, a plurality of points between its apex and base by means of a flexible thread &c. m passing through loops on the diaphragm and casing i. The thread, which supports the diaphragm at points corresponding to its centre of gravity, is tensioned by a spring n. The Provisional Specification describes means for supporting the diaphragm which consists in securing a supporting lug or lugs to the back of the cone and connecting them to brackets &c. provided in connection with the case of the instrument.
