Abstract

296,864. Burton, J. D., (trading as Hockley Auto Co.). July 23, 1927. Door stops.-A resilient buffer for vehicle and like doors comprises two spaced rubber blocks d, e, faced with a U-shaped metal clip &c. f and forming an opening in which a projection g attached to the door engages frictionally when the door is closed. The projection is formed from a plate, Fig. 3, cupped and rounded and provided with apertures for attachment to the door. The casing for the blocks and its attachment plate are formed from sheet-metal plate, Fig. 7, bent as illustrated in Fig. 6.
