Springs, arrangement of; axle attachments. - In a motor vehicle having two real axles with superposed leaf springs pivotally connected to the frame, elastic elements such as rubber rings connect the ends of the springs to the axles. In arrangement shown in Fig. 1, two springs d, e on each side of the vehicle are pivoted centrally to a bracket k fixed to the frame, while their ends are pivoted to lugs f on members which encircle the axle and are supported concentrically thereon by rubber rings h, i shown also in Fig. 2. Specification 259,322 is referred to.
