Abstract

Endless-track vehicles.-In endless-track vehicles, the brackets carrying the supporting-rollers are pivoted to two superposed members each centrally pivoted on a part connected to the chassis of the vehicle so as to form a jointed parallelogram, the joints, if desired, being mounted on elastic sleeves or sockets. The members may comprise laminated springs 5, Fig. 1, secured around elastic rings 12 on pivots 8 carried by the brackets 9, the springs being mounted on pivots 7 carried by a frame 2 becured to an axle 1 of the vehicle. The lower spring may be replaced by links 17, Fig. 5, pivoted at 15 to the frame which may also carry the main pulley 26. The upper spring may consist of two springs, side by side. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the upper springs may be replaced by links slightly longer than the lower links. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
