Abstract

292,292. Johnson, J., and Robson, P. W. April 6, 1927. Drawings to Specification. Working-fluid supply.-The hot exhaust of a turbine driven by compressed air which is heated in an internally fired heater forms the supply of oxygen-carrying medium to support combustion in the heater. The hot exhaust air may first pass through a waste heat boiler to generate steam for auxiliaries. Part of the hot exhaust may preheat the compressed air.
